What is RAD-140?
RAD-140 is, alongside LGD-4033, one of the most popular SARMs used to build muscle mass.
SARMs (Selective androgen receptor modulators) are considered a safe alternative to steroids. These compounds bind only to androgen receptors present in muscles and bones, producing local anabolic effects without systemic side effects.
One such substance is RAD-140, which is considered to be the strongest of all SARMs.
Testolone Benefits
- Rapid muscle mass gain – RAD-140 is probably the most potent anabolic substance legally available on the market. It can provide 4-6kg of pure muscle mass gain over 6-8 weeks. In terms of strength, it is only inferior to anabolic steroids.
- Strength increase – Due to its high anabolic index, Testolone provides enormous strength gains. It is an excellent substance for breaking stagnation and records. - “Pump” – When using Testolone, the muscles retain more water, which makes them look bigger and harder. The veins also become more visible. Effects are similar to those of Anavar in this area.
Side Effects
Does such a strong anabolic agent have side effects?
Unfortunately, yes, but luckily they are minor, and once the cycle is over, everything quickly normalizes. The only side effect is, in fact, testosterone suppression, which is noticeable during long RAD-140 cycles (weaker mood and libido from about 8th week). However, unlike steroids, testolone does not affect the HPTA system so typical PCT using SERM drugs is not considered necessary. It is estimated that with RAD-140, testosterone levels will return to precycle levels within two weeks. Taking into account feedback from my gym friends, I believe that it has a reflection in reality.
However, including PCT drugs like Novalex or Clomid or a good testosterone booster is a good idea in my opinion – especially for cycles >7 weeks, as it helps to preserve more gains.
If you decide to go for a PCT, you should start it two weeks BEFORE the end of your SARM cycle.
Steroid side effects such as gynecomastia, acne, hair loss, hepatotoxicity, prostate problems, high blood pressure, and cardiovascular issues do NOT apply to SARMs.
Unfortunately, there are many products on the market that are contaminated with oral anabolic steroids or prohormones. Such products may cause the above-mentioned symptoms. For this reason, SARMs should only be purchased from reliable sources that have a certificate of analysis for each batch.

My personal experience with Testolone
I started my adventure with SARMs about 5-6 years ago, just after the last steroid cycle and I have been using them 3-4x a year ever since. RAD-140 is a part of virtually every stack I use.
Its results are very similar to those of low doses of testosterone (300-350mg/week) or LGD-4033. The only differences, in my opinion, are the lack of libido increase, which occurs when the previously mentioned substances are used, and much greater strength gains.RAD-140 is a great substance for bulking. It yields phenomenal results in combination with MK-677 and LGD-4033. The usual dose is 20 mg per day.
During 10 weeks of my first cycle, I gained about 3.5kg (7lb) – keep in mind that I am close to my genetic limit. People who exercise for less than three years can count on even twice as much growth if they have a proper diet and do their best during training.
Although I’ve been to cycles longer than 8 weeks many times, I can’t comment on how strong the testosterone suppression is as I always threw Novalex in the 6th week – I included it as a preventive measure because I have a dozen or so more packages from the time I used steroids.
Personally, I think SARMs are an excellent alternative for people who for some reason, don’t want or can’t use anabolic steroids. They provide excellent results – certainly much better than any supplements on the market, without any significant side effects.
RAD-140 Dosage
As I mentioned in the previous paragraph, I believe that 20mg per day is the ideal dosage for beginners. Due to the long half-life, it can be taken once a day.
Usually Testolone cycles last 6-10 weeks. I would advise people using RAD-140 for the first time not to cross the 8-week limit.
Stacking with other SARMs

This is my favorite SARM stack. It gives fantastic gains in muscle mass and strength, while at the same time regenerating joints. Each of these substances works very synergistically with each other. This combination is rather recommended for beginners. Although these are two sarms with the highest anabolic index, they work in a very similar way, so the effect is not as spectacular as one might expect.
